Living with Diabetes can sometimes be challenging and knowing where to turn for support with your daily wellbeing is key.
As well as attending a Diabetes Education programme, there are a number of other ways you can get support for your overall wellbeing.
Good Thinking is a service dedicated to the wellbeing of Londoners. Their website is packed full of ideas to help you with anxiety, sleep, stress and low mood. Use their professionally designed questionnaire to get feedback and suggestions to improve your mental wellbeing.
One of the resources on the Good thinking website is the recently launched My Possible Self. This Mental Health App has been clinically proven to improve the mental health and wellbeing of people living with stress, anxiety and low mood.
The My Possible Self questionnaire will help you identify areas that you may need a little help with, for example – excessive stress or high levels of anxiety often associated with managing your Diabetes. The app will suggest modules and activities that help you tackle these areas.
Using proven psychological methods and clinically proven research from the world leading experts in e-mental health research, the learning modules will teach you coping mechanisms so you can live happier and healthier.
